About the role
We are seeking a results‑oriented, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to lead our Building Supplies Division, focusing on lumber. This role offers the chance to shape department performance, drive sales growth, and contribute to the strategic direction of a financially strong multinational conglomerate.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate department operations to achieve sales and profit targets while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and implementing the financial budget and strategic plan in collaboration with the Divisional Manager.
- Oversee inventory management practices, maximize sales, and achieve gross profit objectives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention programs in line with company policies.
- Implement the company’s performance management system.
- Ensure security measures protect stock, cash, and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with labour laws, HSSE policies, and provide safety and health education.
- Foster an inclusive team environment and demonstrate strong leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of managerial experience.
- Knowledge of the Building Supplies industry is an asset.
