Inventory Manager

About the role

Goddard Enterprises Ltd is looking for a results-oriented Inventory Manager in Carenage, Grenada, to oversee inventory control, stock accuracy and inventory optimisation. The role covers monitoring stock levels, reviewing purchase orders, coordinating stock reduction, conducting physical stock checks, investigating discrepancies, reconciling shipments and managing undelivered inventory, while providing analysis and support to management on purchasing and stock management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management and profit center managers with timely, accurate information on the division's inventory to support purchasing, stocking, inter-department transfers and sales.
• Review purchase orders to ensure proposed quantities are appropriate.
• Coordinate initiatives between profit center managers to reduce slow-moving and impaired inventory.
• Supervise the Inventory Analysis Clerks and assist the Inventory Supervisor.
• Manage the quantitative aspect of the company's inventory.
• Plan and conduct perpetual physical stock checks at all inventory locations.
• Reconcile major shipments received by the division and manage the undelivered inventory process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in management, ACCA level 2 or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in inventory.
• Valid driver's license.
• Leadership and supervisory skills, with good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Adagio General Ledger, Counter Point and MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of Counterpoint, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Power BI is listed as a qualification.
