Lumber Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Lumber Supervisor to support our Assistant Manager in inventory management and to lead our yard, delivery and sales teams. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on our building‑materials operations while working in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager with inventory management tasks.
• Oversee the activities of Yard, Delivery and Sales Supervisors.
• Supervise subordinates to maximise effectiveness and productivity.
• Ensure timely order entry, delivery follow‑ups, returns and after‑sales service coordination.

Required profile

• Five CXC subjects, including a numeric subject and English Language.
• Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience at a supervisory level in the building supplies business or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.

Required skills

• Customer‑oriented with good working knowledge of building materials.
• Computer and numerical skills.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Valid driver’s licence.
